Industry Minister States Diplomatic Efforts Underway to Resolve Nepali Tea Export Issues to India

Kathmandu. Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Gauri Kumari, has stated that diplomatic efforts are underway to resolve the problems seen in Nepali tea exports to India.

Speaking in the discussion of the ministry's budget in the House of Representatives meeting on Wednesday, she said this. She informed that the government has been diplomatically pursuing solutions to the problems seen in Nepali tea exports for the past few days.

She said, 'The ministry is making efforts through diplomatic channels to resolve the technical and trade obstacles seen in tea exports.'

She also said that the ministry is managing resources for the construction of warehouses in partnership with the costs of entrepreneurs and businessmen in the relevant sectors to solve the problem of tea and cardamom storage and expand market access.
