Global Consumer Expo 2026 Begins in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. The second edition of Nepal's largest consumer fair, 'Global Consumer Expo 2026', has started at Bhrikutimandap in the capital. The grand expo, which started on Thursday (Jestha 29) with the main slogan 'New Address for Shopping', will run until Ashar 2. Organizers believe the fair will bring together major brands, innovative businesses, and thousands of consumers in one place.

In this expo, which will last for five days, there is enthusiastic participation of more than 100 exhibitors, both domestic and international. This fair has been established as a dynamic market especially for retailers, entrepreneurs, and general customers. Organizers claim that the fair will play an important role in expanding business-to-business and business-to-consumer business networks and making economic activities dynamic.

Approximately more than 35,000 visitors are estimated to visit the expo during the fair period. Keeping in mind the needs of consumers, various products including daily consumables, kitchen and household items, electronics, fashion, health and beauty, technology, handicrafts, and jewelry are displayed and sold at the fair. In addition, a special 'Interactive Zone' has also been arranged in the exhibition where visitors can get a direct experience of art and handicrafts, and where visitors can have a different experience.
