Rastriya Prajatantra Party Demands Parliamentary Probe Committee on EV Import

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has stated that a parliamentary probe committee is necessary regarding the import of EV vehicles. Speaking in Thursday's House of Representatives meeting, RPP Parliamentary Party leader Gyan Bahadur Shahi said that a parliamentary probe committee is necessary as some doubts have arisen in the import. He stated that they need that probe committee not to prevent Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle from working, but for clarity. He said that 3 thousand vehicles were imported from May 1 to May 14, and the tax being passed on May 14 and the vehicles arriving on May 21 has raised doubts.
