Ujyalo Nepal Party Aims to Lead Bagmati Province Government

Kathmandu. Ujyalo Nepal Party Chairman Kulman Ghising has claimed that his party will lead the Bagmati Province government after the upcoming provincial assembly elections.

Addressing a party entry program organized in Kathmandu on Wednesday, he claimed that his party would make a strong presence in the upcoming local and provincial assembly elections.

Although defeated in the previous elections, he stated that the Ujyalo Nepal Party would win many seats in the upcoming local and provincial assembly elections in 2084 BS. He specifically mentioned that the party is working with the objective of forming a government in Bagmati Province, and also aims to form governments in other provinces. He informed that the party is intensifying its campaign to strengthen and expand its organization across the country, making Bagmati Province the center of its political expansion.

Chairman Ghising admitted that they fell victim to political conspiracies due to a lack of political experience in the past, and pledged not to fall prey to anyone's conspiracy in the future. He expressed his determination to work until the end to preserve the party's existence and identity, and claimed that the Ujyalo Nepal Party would be established as a major political force in the country by winning the trust of the people.

Expressing his views, Chairman Ghising said, 'Yesterday we were confused for some time. After starting politics, after getting involved in politics, one has to learn many things. One also has to learn how to conspire. We did not conspire, we fell into conspiracy. Now, instead of conspiracy, we will be established as a strong party, a force in this country, by earning the trust of the people. We lost the election. Today, the party that lost the election, we don't have a single member in parliament. But the wave of people joining the Ujyalo Party across the country is not happening for no reason. They must have come seeing the future of the Ujyalo Party, its objectives, its vision, and its leadership. With the trust they have shown, we will take that trust forward and make the Ujyalo Nepal Party the number one party in the upcoming elections and subsequent elections before we rest.'

He recalled that although there were high expectations among the public and party cadres before the previous election, disappointment arose when the party could not win a single seat. He urged not to worry about the future of the party anymore, as many friends expressed concern about it at that time. He clarified that he would move this party forward even if he remained alone, and this party would not merge with any other party. He is determined not to let the party's own identity and principles die.

He stated that leaders and cadres from various parties are joining the Ujyalo Nepal Party and many parties are coming to merge, and the party welcomes such efforts of unity and integration. However, he made it clear that the mistake of merging into a party like the Rastriya Swatantra Party, as happened 12 days ago, would never be repeated, without obliterating the party's name, identity, and a delivery-oriented principle.

Mentioning that there is not much time left for the elections, Ghising said, 'Now we are going to the local body elections and provincial elections. Within about a year, not even a year, elections are coming within about eight-nine months. In that election, the Ujyalo Nepal Party will make its strong representation and we will win in many places. We will form the government of Bagmati Province. Not just Bagmati Province, we will form governments in other places too. Keeping Bagmati Province, the heart of this country, at the center, we are working to expand our party's organization.'

He stated that even though the party was defeated in the last election, the wave of people joining the party across the country proves that the public's trust still remains. He claimed that people are spontaneously joining due to the party's clear objectives, vision, and trust in the leadership, and said that the party is moving forward with the resolve to make it the number one force in the country in the upcoming elections.
