One Arrested with Heroin and Cash in Tokha

Kathmandu. Nepal Police have arrested one person with brown heroin and cash amounting to NPR 100,000 from Tokha, Kathmandu.

A team from the District Police Range Kathmandu and Police Division New Buspark arrested Yugsang Rai, 38, a permanent resident of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City-15, Sunsari, currently residing in Tokha, Kathmandu, with 20.64 grams of brown heroin and NPR 115,000 in cash.

Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, spokesperson and Superintendent of Police at the District Police Range Kathmandu, informed that the brown heroin and cash were found based on secret information that the individual had hidden them in the room.

Police have recovered brown heroin, Nepali rupees, along with 2,200 Indian rupees, one digital scale, and one mobile phone from the arrested Rai. Spokesperson Bhattarai stated that necessary investigation is underway regarding the arrested individual.
