At Least 7 Killed in Israeli Airstrikes in Gaza

Kathmandu. According to Gaza's health officials, at least 7 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday. It is said that 5 of them lost their lives in one attack. This incident is the latest example of violence continuing in Gaza even amidst the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which came into effect from October 10.

In a statement issued by the civil defense agency operating under Hamas, it is stated that 5 bodies and some injured were taken to the hospital after an Israeli drone attack targeted a group of civilians in the eastern Al-Maghazi area.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and a Palestinian security source have also confirmed the incident. The Israeli army has stated that an investigation into the incident is underway.

According to eyewitnesses, some armed individuals entered the Al-Maghazi refugee camp on Tuesday morning and forcibly entered a house. Following this, local residents protested against them using stones and sticks. It is said that 5 local residents died in the Israeli drone attack during that time.

Sources said that those armed individuals then fled towards the eastern border area controlled by Israel. Their identities have not been revealed. However, similar clashes between armed groups, claimed to be anti-Hamas and pro-Israel, and local residents have been recurring in recent days.
