Rastriya Swatantra Party MPs Object to Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla's Order

Kathmandu. Lawmakers of the ruling party Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have objected to the order given by Acting Chief Justice Sapana Pradhan Malla on Monday. 

RSP lawmakers Yagyamani Neupane and Samiksha Baskota objected in the House of Representatives meeting on Monday. Acting Chief Justice Pradhan had ordered to register the petition against the recommendation for Chief Justice in the Constitutional Council. RSP lawmakers Neupane and Baskota objected to this in the House. 

Lawmaker Neupane objected, questioning that Acting Chief Justice Malla gave the order based on 'conflict of interest'. 

Another lawmaker, Baskota, accused Acting Chief Justice Malla of showing interest in other matters instead of delivering justice. She also questioned how just it was to order the registration of rejected petitions.
