Police Arrest 11 for Drugs, One for Murder, One for Rape

Kathmandu. Police have arrested 11 people with illegal drugs from various places. According to the Police Headquarters, 11 people were arrested from Jhapa, Parsa, Makwanpur, Banke, Sunsari, and Kaski with illegal drugs.

Similarly, police have arrested one person on charges of murder. Police have arrested Samim Ahmed, 38, of Mahottari, residing in Kharibot, Thainkot, Chandragiri Municipality-3, on the charge of murdering Zakir Mansuri, 20, of Mahottari, residing in Kharibot, Thainkot, Chandragiri Municipality-3.

Furthermore, police have arrested Devsingh Bohara, 60, of Belauri Municipality-4 Butabari, on the charge of forcibly raping a 54-year-old woman.

Approximately 276 kg of illegal drug marijuana was recovered by the police on Saturday night from Karjhana Municipality-11. Police dispatched from the Area Police Office, Mirchaiya, found the said quantity of marijuana in 11 sacks in the bushes in the same place and recovered it. Police are conducting necessary investigations in this regard.
