Traffic Police Office Organizes Road Safety Awareness Program in Parsa

Parsa. Under the World Road Safety Week 2026, a public awareness program was organized here today under the leadership of the District Traffic Police Office. A public awareness program was organized today in the Maistahn-Ghantaghar area of Birgunj to reduce road accidents.

Chief of the District Traffic Office, Yuvraj Katwal, said that a public awareness program was organized targeting cyclists and rickshaw pullers while reducing vehicle accidents.

"The number of people losing their lives in vehicle accidents is increasing. Therefore, we are working towards reducing vehicle accidents by conducting such public awareness programs," he said, "The office has been continuously conducting traffic awareness programs. We are also conducting traffic awareness programs by reaching out to schools."

Ward Police Office Birta-Sripur and Birgunj Youth Society participated in the awareness program in coordination with them.
