Food Festival to be Held in Bhairahawa on Jestha 9 and 10

Bhairahawa. A 'Siddhartha Food and Fun' food festival will be held in Bhairahawa on Jestha 9 and 10. The organizers informed that the festival, which will be held at Hotel Siddhartha Villa, organized by Siddhartha Hospitality Group, will present flavors from Nepali indigenous dishes to international cuisines.

According to Krishna Neupane, Chief Executive Officer of Siddhartha Business Group of Hospitality, the festival will feature stalls of Newari, Himalayan, Tharu, Mid-Western and Eastern traditional foods, as well as 'Continental', Indian, Chinese, Arabic and 'Mediterranean' dishes.

The festival, organized with the objective of promoting Nepali indigenous food and presenting the unique flavors of various communities and regions in one place, will feature 'chefs' working in 'outlets' operated in various cities of the country under the 'Group' preparing special dishes from their respective regions.

The organizers informed that a food eating competition, a home cooking competition, child-friendly games and other entertainment activities will be conducted in the program. Those interested in participating in the cooking competition can register their names by contacting Siddhartha 'Hospitality Group'.

Various artists will perform musically on the first day of the festival. Local artists from the Lumbini region will also present folk and cultural programs on both days.

The program will be conducted daily from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Mahendra Neupane, Regional Executive Director of Siddhartha Business Group of Hospitality, informed that visitors can taste their desired dishes during that period.

The group currently operates 30 outlets across the country through its own and management 'model' and provides employment to about 2,500 people.
