Gyanendra Shahi Appeals to Hark Sampang Not to Demand PM's Resignation

Kathmandu. Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) parliamentary party leader Gyanendra Shahi has appealed to the Chairman of Shram Sanskriti Party and MP Hark Sampang not to demand the Prime Minister's resignation. Shahi clarified on social media that there is no concrete reason to demand the resignation of the current Prime Minister. He emphasized the need to respect the people's mandate and vote, stating that the public has voted against those who have looted and corrupted the country for the past 35 years. Shahi highlighted the necessity for everyone to work together to advance the country, and that their only demand is for the Prime Minister to be democratic and accountable to the parliament. He wrote, 'Our demand is only this: the Prime Minister should be democratic, should be accountable to the parliament.' He believes that the Prime Minister should respect the parliament as it is the place where the voice of the people is heard and the supreme democratic forum to convey the people's concerns to the government. Shahi urged Hark Sampang to move forward by respecting the public mandate that came against the wrong governance system of the past. He stressed that the Prime Minister must make the parliament accountable to strengthen the system and the governance. Shahi stated that instead of demanding resignation, accountability should be sought by respecting the vote given by the people against the corruption and loot of the old powers.
