Two New Nepali Films Release Nationwide

Kathmandu. Today, Friday, two new Nepali films have been released across the country. The films are 'Ek Muthi Badal' and 'Life Damage'. Both these films have been released simultaneously across the country under Friday Release. It is said that both these films, which have different stories and actors' performances, are family films.

Among the two films, 'Ek Muthi Badal' has raised the issue of dowry system and family complexities that are deeply entrenched in Nepali society. The background of the film is a festive wedding atmosphere, but the film has deeply explored the greed for property hidden within it, the politics within the house, and the social status of women.

The film, starring Aanchal Sharma, Nisha Sharma, Usha Rajak, and Bhima Mainali in the lead roles, has been produced by Abhimanyu Dixit and Nikun Shrestha. The film, a collaboration between Gauthali Entertainment and Man Production, is claimed to be strong from both artistic and commercial perspectives. The film has been directed by Sahara Sharma.

Similarly, 'Life Damage' is also said to present a family story in a different way. In the film made in the 'Fantasy Comedy Drama' genre, Surakshya Panta, Nimesh Shrestha, Isha Thapa, and Sanjana Maharjan have acted. The film has been directed by Nimesh Shrestha. Since few films are made in the fantasy genre in Nepali films, director Shrestha said that this film will give a new taste to the audience.
