Film 'Tika' Holds Auspicious Launch Ceremony

Kathmandu. The auspicious launch of the film 'Tika' has been held. In a special program organized at the Bagalamukhi Temple in Patan on Thursday, the auspicious launch was performed with camera, clap, and script puja in the presence of the production team, artists, and technicians. 

The film, to be produced under the banner of Bhavishya Films Pvt. Ltd. and Third Eye Arts, has already set its release date for Bhadra 26. The film is set to go on floors next week. The director of the film is Shankar Karki.

Speaking at the program, producer Bhavishya Khadka said that the film is being made on the serious story of women who face various social discrimination. Khadka, who is also the producer of the recent blockbuster 'Jerry On Top', stated that the experience, struggles, and learning from that film have been incorporated into the making of 'Tika'. Khadka is also the producer of 'Batulo Jun', scheduled for a Dashain release.

The film will feature performances by Priyanka Karki, Barsha Siwakoti, Mahesh Tripathi, Nirmal Sharma, Parvati Adhikari, and Ayushi Dhakal. The executive producer of the film is Tejvikram KC.

The story has been prepared by Shankar Karki and Chandan Jha, and the screenplay is by Biswas Timilsina (Biti Kanchha). The music is by Kaliprasad Baskota and Ketan Kshetri, and the cinematographer of the film is Narendra Mainali.
