New Osho Meditation Center Inaugurated in Lumbini

Kathmandu. A new meditation center and a well-equipped hall of Osho Tapoban has been inaugurated in Lumbini, the center of world peace, with a special program. The program, attended by high officials of the Nepal government, was held in the presence of Swami Anand Arun, founder of Osho Tapoban. Addressing the program, Swami Anand Arun expressed his emotional happiness that his 40-year-old dream has been realized in Lumbini. He recalled the difficult conditions and jungle of Lumbini 40 years ago and shared an interesting memoir of how the birthplace of Buddha always attracted him spiritually. He emphasized the need to make Lumbini the best meditation center in the world by connecting Osho's philosophy and Buddha's teachings. On this occasion, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Dol Prasad Aryal praised the spiritual and social contribution of Swami Anand Arun. He stated that organizations like Osho Tapoban play an important role in bringing positive change in society and improving the mental health of citizens. Similarly, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadga Raj Poudel (Ganesh) informed about the government's plan to make Nepal a global center for 'Wellness Tourism'. Minister Poudel said that preparations are underway to celebrate 2027 as 'Wellness Year' and expressed confidence that spiritual centers will greatly contribute to achieving the goal of bringing one crore tourists in the next 10 years. Participants said that this program, attended by followers and distinguished individuals from various countries, has further elevated the tourist and spiritual dignity of Lumbini. This new initiative by Osho Tapoban is expected to provide a new experience of meditation and peace to tourists visiting Lumbini.
