Federation Election Today for New Leadership

Kathmandu. Elections are being held today for the new leadership of the Federation of Nepal Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to the bylaws, Senior Vice President Anjan Shrestha will automatically become the President, while voting is taking place for the Vice President and executive members.

In the election, there is a competition between the group supported by Anjan Shrestha and the group led by Vice President Hemraj Dhakal. Both sides have put forward their candidates for the posts of Vice President and executive members.

There are 137 business candidates for the 73 posts of the Federation. Voting will take place from 8 am to 4 pm at Pragya Bhawan in Kamaladi, after which counting will be done.
