Rabi Lamichhane Directs Rastriya Swatantra Party Not to Assure Election Tickets

Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has instructed not to give assurances to anyone regarding election tickets. Rabi gave the instruction in an informal meeting of the party held at the parliamentary party office in Singhdarbar on Wednesday.

RSP has decided to operate a 'Candidate Club' from April 20 to select suitable candidates for the local level and provincial assembly member elections to be held in 2084 BS. The coordination of this has been entrusted to Joint General Secretary Bipin Kumar Acharya. 

'To select suitable candidates for the upcoming elections and for pre-election training, 'Candidate Club' practice will be held from April 20.

Therefore, there is an instruction not to make any commitments to anyone regarding election tickets for the upcoming elections. If such wrong practices are found anywhere, they will be subject to action,' informed spokesperson Manish Jha.
