Opposition Parties Meet Amidst Government Ordinance Discussions; Labor Culture Party Absent

Kathmandu. The Labor Culture Party did not attend the meeting of opposition parties called by the main opposition party Nepali Congress. From UML, Parliamentary Party Leader Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal, from the Nepal Communist Party, Chief Whip Yuvraj Dulal, and from Rastriya Prajatantra Party, MP Saraswati Lama are present in the meeting taking place at the Congress Parliamentary Party office in Singha Durbar.

After the government recommended President Ram Chandra Paudel to bring ordinances related to the Constitutional Council and cooperatives, the leader of the main opposition party Congress, Angdambe, called a meeting to formulate a strategy for the opposition parties.

Angdambe's personal secretary M. Dhungana informed that the Labor Culture Party was invited to the meeting but did not come.
