'Jhingedau 2' to hit screens nationwide on September 18

Kathmandu. Director Gyanendra Deuja's film 'Jhingedau 2' is set to be released on October 2. The production unit released a poster featuring the four main actors of the film on Tuesday, announcing that the film will be screened nationwide on the occasion of Constitution Day on October 2.

Although it was previously announced to be released on the Fulpati of Dashain, director Gyanendra Deuja stated that October 2 was chosen as a safe date after a competition arose among the producers to screen the film on that date. The poster released on Tuesday features actresses Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, and actors Mahesh Tripathi and Kushal Bishwokarma.

The film, produced under the joint banner of Kapangadi Cinema Pvt. Ltd. and Film Crew Nepal, features performances by Saroj Khanal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi, Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Kushal Bishwokarma, Vasundhara Bhusal, Chaityadevi Singh, Hyuwal Gautam, Vijay Deuja, Asha Bhusal, Abhay Raj Baral, Ashish Purush, among others.

The film, with a story by director Gyanendra Deuja himself, has its screenplay written by Parichhed Sen, Govinda Phuyal, and Shishir Chalise. The film, with action direction by Roshan Shrestha, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, music by Arjun Pokharel, and editing by Mitra D Gurung, was shot in Kavre, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Sankhu, Tanahu, Bandipur, Devghat, Dolakha, Chitlang, Palung, and Chitwan.
