Geographer Buddhi Narayan Shrestha's Facebook Account Disappears After Publishing Old Map

Kathmandu. Geographer Buddhi Narayan Shrestha's Facebook account has disappeared. His Facebook account disappeared after he published an old map stating that the land of Limpiyadhura, Lipulek, and Kalapani is part of Nepal's territory.

Shrestha said that his Facebook has not been working since Saturday, and along with it, Messenger has also stopped functioning. "I had posted a map stating that according to the treaty of 1816, the origin of the Mahakali River is Limpiyadhura, after which the Facebook disappeared. I received a message saying it was reported from a neighboring country," Shrestha said. "Now I cannot even talk to friends on Messenger."

Just a few days ago, the Facebook account of Hark Sampang of the Labor Culture Party also disappeared, but it has been restored. Currently, the Facebook account of former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai has not been restored yet.
