Government Demolishes Squatter Settlements in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. The government deployed bulldozers today to clear two squatter settlements in Kathmandu, located in Thapathali and Gairigaun. 

According to the police, the demolition work will continue until nightfall. It has been stated that if the process of dismantling the huts is not completed today, the remaining work will continue tomorrow. 

The squatter settlement in Thapathali was cleared early this morning, while bulldozers were deployed in the Gairigaun area of Sinamangal in the afternoon.
