Foreign Minister Khanal Emphasizes Adherence to Diplomatic Code of Conduct

Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal has stated that the current government is actively working to streamline foreign relations and diplomatic conduct, emphasizing the importance of adhering to the diplomatic code of conduct.

Speaking at a program organized by the Rastriya Swatantra Party, Tarkeshwor Municipality-10 in Manmaiju today, he noted that they are committed to ensuring the diplomatic code of conduct applies equally to the Prime Minister, ministers, and all individuals holding public office.

“We have arranged training to ensure that the diplomatic code of conduct is applied equally to everyone, including the Prime Minister and ministers,” Foreign Minister Khanal said, stressing that diplomatic rules must be followed by all.

In a different context, he mentioned that the government is working towards good governance and economic prosperity. He noted that the government is operating in accordance with the Rastriya Swatantra Party's manifesto for good governance and prosperity, adding that the government is moving forward with a zero-tolerance policy against corruption.
