Home Minister Sudhan Gurung Resigns Amid Controversy

Kathmandu. Home Minister Sudhan Gurung has submitted his resignation to Prime Minister Balen Shah. He visited the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers at Singha Durbar to tender his resignation. 

‘The Home Minister has just submitted his resignation to the Prime Minister. For the time being, the Ministry of Home Affairs will be under the Prime Minister,’ said Press Advisor to the Prime Minister, Deepa Dahal. 

Gurung resigned on moral grounds following reports of an investment partnership with controversial businessman Deepak Bhatta.
