Teenager stabbed to death at wedding in Kanchanpur

Kanchanpur. A young man attending a wedding in Bhanubasti, Punarbas Municipality-5, Kanchanpur, was stabbed to death last night.

According to the District Police Office, Kanchanpur, 18-year-old Ujjal Sayar of Punarbas Municipality-5 was stabbed in the chest while attending a relative's wedding.

Sayar, who was critically injured following a dispute among local youths, succumbed to his injuries at 2:00 AM while undergoing treatment at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi. Police spokesperson and Deputy Superintendent of Police Hem Bahadur Shahi stated that 25-year-old Dhan Bahadur Bayadi and 19-year-old Tanka Thapa have been taken into custody on suspicion of involvement in the murder.

He added that the suspects are being held at the Tribhuvanbasti Area Police Office and a detailed investigation into the incident has commenced.
