Five of a family injured in car-JCB collision in Nawalpur

NAWALPUR: Five members of a single family were injured today when their car collided with a JCB on the East-West Highway at Devchuli Municipality-16 Farm in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East).

The accident occurred when the car (Ba 18 Cha 3323), traveling from Narayangadh to Butwal, collided with an 'untested' JCB heading from Jharahi Khola towards Rajahar in the same direction.

District Police Office Superintendent of Police Yubraj Khadka stated that the injured include the car driver, 34-year-old Sagar Gyawali of Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City-11, Rupandehi, his 31-year-old wife Ansu Paudel, three-year-old son Ayan Gyawali, nine-month-old Vedaksh Gyawali, and 56-year-old mother Kamala Gyawali. He noted that the car hit the JCB while attempting to avoid a motorcycle.

The injured have been sent to the New Medical College in Chitwan for treatment.
