Ignoring Children's Efforts

Parents often deem their children's efforts successful only when they deliver results that meet their expectations. They pay no attention to how much effort the child has put in or what they have learned.

Excessive Control

All parents want the best for their children, but sometimes this concern turns into excessive control. Parents begin to dictate everything, including who their children talk to, what career they choose, what they wear, and where they go. They often label this behavior as care.

Suppression of Emotions

Children receive praise only as long as they obey their parents or do as they are told. Even minor mistakes can lead to parents giving them the silent treatment. If children do something they enjoy, they are scolded, reflecting a pattern of conditional love and praise.

Imposing Personal Desires on Others

Healthy communication is successful only when it is two-way. If one party insists on maintaining their perspective alone, communication becomes one-sided. When a child raises their voice or expresses their opinion, they are scolded or instructed to remain silent.
