West Nawalparasi District Administration Office Begins Operations from New Building

Nawalparasi. The District Administration Office of West Nawalparasi has begun providing services from its own building starting today.

Chief District Officer Deepak Raj Nepal stated that the new building was constructed on the same site after demolishing the old one. 

For the past three years, the administration office had been operating from the building of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nawalparasi.

The company awarded the contract for the building construction in Chaitra 2079 BS was required to complete the work by the end of Poush 2081 BS. However, after the contractor failed to complete the work due to various reasons, a decision was made to finish construction within the current fiscal year. CDO Nepal mentioned that the contractor formally handed over the building on 26 Chaitra 2082 BS. The well-equipped three-story building was completed at a cost of 78.792 million rupees.
