Kathmandu Metropolitan City Initiates Plan to Rescue and Rehabilitate Street-Dwelling Individuals in Pashupati Area

Kathmandu. A discussion was held regarding the rescue and management of individuals living on the streets in the Pashupati area, with the goal of making Kathmandu free of street-dependent individuals. The discussion program was organized on Wednesday under the leadership of Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City. 

The meeting focused on the feasibility of rescuing and managing individuals residing on the streets within the Pashupati premises. The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Dhunibeshi Municipality in Dhading, along with representatives from the Manav Sewa Ashram and the Pashupati Area Development Trust.

Following the meeting, Deputy Mayor Dangol and other representatives met with the individuals living on the streets in the Pashupati area.
