Nepali Community in South Korea to Celebrate 2569th Buddha Jayanti

Korea. A special program is set to be organized on May 26th among the Nepali community in South Korea to mark the 2569th Buddha Jayanti. Organized by the Nepali Jana Samparka Samiti South Korea, the event aims to promote the message 'Buddha Was Born in Nepal' on an international level.

It is believed that the program will help further establish Nepal, the birthplace of Buddha, as a country of peace before the world. It has been stated that being able to promote Nepal's religious, cultural, and historical identity while living in Korea is a matter of pride for the Nepali community. Additionally, on this occasion, greetings for Buddha Jayanti will be extended to all Nepali brothers and sisters.

Various organizations active in South Korea, social activists, and the Nepali community have been requested to attend the event. The organizers have stated that the active participation of everyone is necessary to make the program grand, dignified, and successful.

In this regard, according to Suren Giri, General Secretary of the Sudurpaschim Samaj South Korea, Harka Bista, President of the Nepali Jana Samparka Samiti South Korea, has also urged the entire Nepali community and organizations to attend and make the program a success.
