Nepal Telecom Launches 'SEE Offer 2082' for Students

Kathmandu. Nepal Telecom has introduced an attractive 'SEE Offer 2082' targeting students participating in the 2082 Secondary Education Examination (SEE).

The offer is valid from Chaitra 26 until Ashar 26, 2083. Students can avail of this offer by purchasing a new SIM card or activating it on their existing SIM cards, according to the company.

What is in the offer?
Students can purchase a new SIM card for only 20 rupees from any Nepal Telecom office nationwide. The new SIM comes with a main balance of 9 rupees and 80 paisa, which can be used for calls, SMS, or data across any network.

Upon activating the SIM, students will receive 20 minutes of on-net voice calls, 10 on-net SMS, and 500 MB of data daily for 30 consecutive days for free.

Students will also receive additional bonuses every time they recharge with 50 rupees or more. The bonus includes 500 MB of data, 50 minutes of on-net voice calls, and 50 on-net SMS, which must be used within 3 days.

To obtain a new SIM: Students must submit a photocopy of their SEE admit card or Grade 10 marksheet, one passport-sized photo, and a copy of their or their guardian's citizenship or other identification. To activate the SIM, dial *1414#, and to receive the offer, dial *1600#. For existing SIM users: Students already using a Nepal Telecom SIM should dial *1600#.

Following the instructions, students must enter their SEE symbol number and date of birth in Bikram Sambat. Once the data is verified, the offer will be activated on the existing SIM.

Nepal Telecom spokesperson Rabindra Manandhar stated in a press release that the company has continued this tradition due to the growing interest from students. The company expects thousands of students across the country to benefit from this offer.
