Four National Assembly Committee Chairs Take Oath of Office

Kathmandu. The chairpersons of four thematic committees of the National Assembly have taken the oath of office and secrecy. On Wednesday, the committee chairs were sworn in before National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal at the Federal Parliament Secretariat.  

Puja Chaudhary, Chair of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee; Jayanti Devi Rai, Chair of the Federalism Strengthening and National Concern Committee; Krishna Prasad Paudel, Chair of the Development, Economic Affairs and Good Governance Committee; and Krishna Bahadur Rokaya, Chair of the Legislation Management Committee, took the oath of office and secrecy.

Previously, separate meetings of the respective committees held on Tuesday had unanimously elected the chairpersons.
