Public Procurement Monitoring Office blacklists 8 construction firms

Kathmandu. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office has blacklisted 8 construction companies and suppliers for failing to perform work as per their contracts. Ltd. of Kathmandu, and based on the recommendation of Bagmati Municipality, Sarlahi, Dhulikhel Nirman Sewa Pvt. Ltd. of Kathmandu have been blacklisted for 3 years.

Similarly, on the recommendation of the Road Division, Janakpur, Brothers Construction of Mahottari has been blacklisted for 1 year and 6 months. Five other companies have been blacklisted for 1 year. These include Lok Nirman Sewa and Suppliers of Rolpa, Debu Nirman Sewa of Gorkha, Abhan Construction of Chitwan, Surya Deep Printing Press of Kathmandu, and Himshikha Construction Pvt. Ltd. of Rupandehi.

The office took this action due to delays in work or failure to comply with terms as reported by various municipalities, rural municipalities, and government offices. This decision to blacklist will be effective from the date of publication of the notice.
