Five-year-old girl dies after falling from third floor in Jhapa

Jhapa. A young girl has died after falling from the third floor of a house in Jhapa. Five-year-old Manaswi Acharya from Damak Municipality-4 has passed away.

Acharya, who was visiting relatives, was critically injured after falling from a window on the third floor of Manju Upreti's house in Birtamod Municipality-5. She died while undergoing treatment at the B&C Medical College in Birtamod, confirmed District Police Office Superintendent of Police Basundhara Khadka. 

Acharya, who was staying as a guest in the room of Hem Sagar Bhattarai from Phungling Municipality-3, Taplejung, fell from the window while playing. Police stated that further investigation into the incident is ongoing.
