CPN (UML) youth activists stage protest at party headquarters

Kathmandu. Youth activists affiliated with the CPN (UML) have staged a sit-in at the party headquarters in Chyasal. The group, which burned an effigy of General Secretary Shankar Pokharel yesterday, held a sit-in and protest demonstration at the party office today.

They are demanding that the party leadership correct its errors made during the selection of the parliamentary party leader, arguing that the UML has failed to adapt to changing circumstances and that the party must promote youth leadership.
