Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar 2' Sets New Box Office Records

Mumbai. Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh's film 'Dhurandhar 2' continues to perform strongly at the box office. By the end of its second week, the film has set a new milestone in Indian cinema history, grossing approximately 1466.47 crore INR worldwide. 

According to the trade website Sacnilk, the film managed a net collection of 20.10 crore INR in India on its fourteenth day, Wednesday.

The film has now climbed to the fourth position on the list of the highest-grossing Indian films worldwide. Only 'Dangal', 'Baahubali 2', and 'Pushpa 2' remain ahead of 'Dhurandhar 2'. In India alone, the film's total net collection has reached 920.02 crore INR, while the gross collection stands at 1101.47 crore INR. With an additional 365 crore business in overseas markets, its global gross collection has reached 1466.47 crore INR.

The film is performing exceptionally well, particularly in its Hindi version. On the fourteenth day alone, the Hindi version earned 18.75 crore INR, while the film has also made an impact in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. 

Previously, the first installment of 'Dhurandhar' also created a sensation by earning approximately 1307 crore worldwide. The first part had broken 'Baahubali 2's' record in the US and Canada, earning over 193 crore.

Interestingly, 'Dhurandhar 2' has achieved this massive success despite not receiving release permits in Gulf countries. The film has also become the highest-grossing 'A' rated (for adults only) film in Indian cinema history.
