Government Appoints Chief Administrative Officers to Four Metropolitan Sub-Cities

The government has appointed Chief Administrative Officers to four metropolitan sub-cities that were without one.

A cabinet meeting on Chaitra 16 decided to transfer and assign six Joint Secretaries to four metropolitan sub-cities, as well as to the Prime Minister's Office and the Ministry of Urban Development.

Joint Secretary Pradip Pariyar from the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has been transferred to the Office of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet. He has reportedly been assigned as the private secretary to Prime Minister Balen Shah.

Similarly, Tek Narayan Poudel, who was in the additional group at the General Administration Ministry, has been assigned as the Chief Administrative Officer of Tulsipur Metropolitan Sub-City, Dang, while Chandra Prasad Bhusal has been sent to Ghorahi Metropolitan Sub-City, also in Dang.

The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration stated that Deepak Gyawali has been sent as the Chief Administrative Officer of Butwal Metropolitan Sub-City, and Gyan Hari Ghimire has been sent to Janakpur Metropolitan Sub-City in Dhanusha. Furthermore, Joint Secretary Navaraj Sharma has been transferred to the Ministry of Urban Development.
