NRNA European Women's Committee to Honor Pioneering Female Activists in Virtual Event

Kathmandu. The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) European Regional Women's Committee is organizing a special virtual event to recognize the contributions of pioneering female activists active in the European region.

As per the decision of the European Regional Meeting, the honoring and interaction program, titled 'Leadership is Yours - Success is Ours,' is scheduled to take place on April 5, 2026 (Sunday).

The main objective of this program is to honor the experience, leadership, and inspiration of pioneering women active in the NRNA European region. This program will not be limited only to honoring but will also operate as a common platform for women's empowerment, experience sharing, and inspiration, informed Baba Rajeshwori Thapa, the European Regional Women's Coordinator. This interactive session is expected to make a positive and inspirational contribution to future leadership development.

According to Thapa, since the format of this program is focused at the regional level, the NRNA European Regional Women's Committee is coordinating it. However, Coordinator Thapa stated that due to a lack of full access to all information and secretariat processes, formal involvement and support from the Central Committee (ICC) or the Kathmandu Secretariat are expected to make the program more organized and effective.

The virtual program, to be conducted via Zoom technology, is scheduled to start at 6:00 PM Nepali time and 2:15 PM European time.
