South Indian Actor Naga Chaitanya Explains Hiatus from Bollywood After 'Laal Singh Chaddha' Debut

Mumbai. South Indian film actor Naga Chaitanya is currently in the news due to his upcoming film 'Vrushabha'. Successful South actor Naga debuted in Bollywood with Aamir Khan's film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' in 2022. However, he has not been seen in any Hindi film since that movie.

Fans had been asking him the reason for staying away from Bollywood for a long time. Recently, he opened up about this issue in an interview.

'There is no specific negative reason for not doing Hindi films. I am always ready for new opportunities. But after 'Laal Singh Chaddha', I became very busy with South projects. Those films required a lot of my time and effort,' he further said, 'That's why I am waiting for the right opportunity to work in a Hindi film.'

According to Naga Chaitanya, language is no longer a major barrier for films now. 'Nowadays, audiences watch all kinds of films in various languages. I am ready to do a Hindi film, but that project must inspire me. It should be something new, and I should get the opportunity to work with filmmakers I admire,' he said.

Naga Chaitanya was last seen in the film 'Thank You'. Now he is coming before the audience with his much-anticipated film 'Vrushabha'. This film is preparing to be released this year.
