43 Out of 56 Candidates in Banke Submit Election Expenditure Reports

Nepalgunj. Out of 56 candidates who contested the House of Representatives elections held on Falgun 21 in Banke, only 43 have submitted their election expenditure reports. A total of 56 candidates, representing various political parties and independents, contested from the three constituencies of the district.

According to the District Election Office, out of the 56 candidates registered for the election, only 43 have submitted their expenditure details so far. According to Yuvaraj Pant, Information Officer at the office, 13 candidates are yet to submit their election expenses.

There is a provision that all candidates must submit their expenditure details within one month of the declaration of the election results. The deadline for submitting the expenditure details was Chaitra 23.

Suresh Kumar Chaudhary of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) was elected from Banke District Constituency No. 1, Mohammad Ishtiyak Rai of CPN (UML) from Constituency No. 2, and Khagendra Sunar of RSP from Constituency No. 3.
