Rastriya Swatantra Party's Senior Leader Balen Shah Set to Become Prime Minister Tomorrow

Kathmandu. Senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Balen Shah, is set to become the Prime Minister tomorrow (Friday).

For this, the RSP's parliamentary party meeting held today has already appointed Balen as the party leader. Balen, who is scheduled to take the oath of office as Prime Minister at 12:34 PM, is planning to make significant decisions in the first cabinet meeting.

He is set to decide on several reform programs. For this purpose, it has been found that he had demanded reform plans from the secretaries of all ministries a few days ago.

According to sources, upon Balen's instruction, Chief Secretary Sumanraj Aryal had written to the secretaries, asking them to send 5 reform plans each.

In the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21, the RSP secured a near two-thirds majority with 182 seats.
