Rabi Lamichhane Congratulates Balen Shah Ahead of Prime Ministerial Oath

Kathmandu. The Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, congratulated and extended best wishes to senior leader Balen Shah, who is scheduled to take the oath as Prime Minister on Friday.

Rabi offered congratulations and best wishes after the party's central committee and parliamentary party joint meeting, held at the central office in Vanasthali on Thursday, unanimously approved the proposal to select Balen as the leader of the parliamentary party.  

“On behalf of the parliamentary party, I want to extend heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a successful tenure to him,” he said while concluding the meeting. Balen is scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy as Prime Minister tomorrow at 12:34 PM. He will assume office at the Prime Minister's Office in Singha Durbar tomorrow at 2:15 PM.
