Public Campaign Launched in Itahari to Purchase New Fire Truck After Previous One Was Destroyed

Itahari. A public campaign has been initiated in Itahari Sub-Metropolitan City to purchase a new fire truck. Young entrepreneur Samir Karki has taken the initiative and announced a campaign to buy and provide a fire truck for Itahari.

The sub-metropolitan city remains without a fire truck since the fire truck stationed in Itahari was burned down during the recent 'Jangi' protest. Local interest is growing as the city has been unable to purchase a new fire truck even after a long time has passed.

Keeping this situation in mind, Karki stated that he has started a campaign to purchase the fire truck through public participation. He said, 'It is an extremely risky situation for a growing city like Itahari not to have a fire truck. A system capable of providing immediate service in case of any disaster or fire incident is necessary.'

According to Karki, the goal of the campaign is to raise support from local businesspeople, social organizations, and the general public to purchase the fire truck. He also informed that the campaign's action plan will be made public soon.

Local residents have also welcomed this initiative as positive for the city's safety. According to them, a fire truck is an extremely necessary tool for quick rescue and control in incidents like fires in the city.
