Election Commission Hosts Tea Reception to Mark Successful House of Representatives Election

Kathmandu. The Election Commission organized a special tea and refreshment reception on Wednesday at its office in Kantipath to commemorate the successful completion of the House of Representatives Election 2082. After the election, which is considered a great celebration in strengthening the country's democracy, the Commission invited the heads of the state's major organs to one venue.

President Ramchandra Paudel participated in the ceremony as the chief guest. Vice President Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister Sushila Karki, National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal, and Chief Justice Prakashman Singh Raut were also specially present at the event. Along with these top state figures, the senior member of the House of Representatives, Arjun Narsingh KC, and other high-ranking officials participated in the program and exchanged happiness over the successful conclusion of the election.

The Commission officials expressed gratitude to all parties who assisted in conducting the election and celebrated the refreshment ceremony as a festival.
