Senior-Most Member Arjun Narsingh KC Takes Oath as Member of House of Representatives

Kathmandu. Arjun Narsingh KC, the senior-most member of the House of Representatives, has taken the oath of office and secrecy. President Ramchandra Paudel administered the oath of office to Member KC at the President's Office, Shital Niwas, today.

Senior member KC will administer the oath to the remaining 274 members on Thursday. Immediately after taking the oath, KC signed his oath document. KC is the oldest member among those elected in the House of Representatives election held on Falgun 21 last year.

In the House of Representatives election, 165 members were elected through the first-past-the-post electoral system and 110 through the proportional representation electoral system.
