Film Journalists Association of Nepal Prepares for Central Convention

Kathmandu. The Film Journalists Association Nepal (FJANI) is gearing up for its central convention. FJANI Organizational Vice President Bijay Aawaz informed that after completing conventions in 15 district branches and 8 foreign branches, the association is now focusing on the central convention.

The 10th Central General Convention of the association is scheduled for Baisakh 5 in Kathmandu. Through this convention, a 17-member central committee will be elected for the next three years.

The following individuals have been elected as presidents in the association's provincial and district branches: Birendra Shah in Koshi Province branch, Santosh Basnyal in Kaski branch, Suryanarayan Bik in Parsa branch, Subash Sankalpa Shrestha in Sunsari branch, Kapil Khadka in Makwanpur branch, Prem Dewan in Morang branch, Govinda Aryal in Chitwan branch, Atit Yonghang in Ilam branch, Krishna Bhandari in Rupandehi branch, Bibek Nagari in Kailali branch, Ekraj Pradhan in Jhapa branch, Ramesh Kumar Pandey as President of the ad-hoc committee in Surkhet branch, Ramchandra Paudel in Banke branch, and Nirala Aryal in Dang branch.

The association has been conducting various programs to expand its organization nationally and internationally, including skill enhancement programs, interactions, workshops, national gatherings, anniversary celebrations, national workshops, and operating a welfare fund for its members.
