CPN-UML Leader Gokul Baskota: Respect Rastriya Swatantra Party's Electoral Victory

Kathmandu. CPN-UML leader Gokul Baskota has stated that the victory achieved by the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) in the recently concluded elections must be accepted as the people's choice. Sharing his views on the social media platform Facebook, he mentioned that it is up to the RSP how the new government will function.

Baskota clarified that there is no point in anyone commenting for at least the first three months after the new government begins its work. Stating that the public will always remain common, he admitted that this time the general citizens trusted the promises and agenda of the RSP.

Hinting at the criticism and dissatisfaction arising from various quarters following the election results, he commented, "It's time to stop picking at the bone." He wrote, "RSP won the election. How they run it? That's their business. It is useless for anyone else to say anything for the first three months after the new government starts working. The people were, are, and will remain common. The only difference is that this time they were chosen by the general public; or rather, the public believed their promises. It's time to stop picking at the bone!"
