Iran Executes Individual Convicted of Espionage for Israeli Intelligence Agency Mossad

Tehran. Iran has executed an individual accused of spying for the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. According to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency, the sentence was carried out on Wednesday morning.

According to the report, the individual was accused of providing images and information about the country's sensitive areas to Mossad officials. It is reported that the execution was carried out after approval from Iran's Supreme Court. According to the news agency, the individual was recruited as a Mossad spy online while residing in Sweden.

It is claimed that a Persian-speaking Mossad official contacted him after he posted his details in a travel advertisement group. He was arrested last June by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the Savojbolagh region.

Upon arrest, advanced espionage equipment, intelligence gathering materials, and a satellite communication system were reportedly found with him. This incident comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and Israel. The conflict between the two countries has recently intensified military and intelligence activities.
