Ujyalo Nepal Party Concludes Two-Day Review Meeting on Federal Elections

Kathmandu. The Ujyalo Nepal Party, led by Kulman Ghising, has concluded a two-day special review program to comprehensively assess the 2082 House of Representatives elections and determine the future political course of action.

The review meeting, chaired by Party President Kulman Ghising, included members of the Central Committee, candidates for the House of Representatives, provincial coordinators, district coordinators, and responsible leaders and cadres from various levels.

During the intensive discussions on the first day among candidates, provincial, and district coordinators, experiences gained during the election, the nature of public outreach, possibilities for organizational expansion, voter psychology, challenges in publicity, and the national presence the party managed to establish in a short time were thoroughly reviewed.

Participants expressed satisfaction that despite extremely limited time, minimal resources, and an initial organizational status, the Ujyalo Nepal Party succeeded in securing respectable votes nationwide, viewing this as a strong foundation for the future political endeavors.

Spokesperson Raju Thapa stated that on the second day, after the reviews from the first day were presented, a consensus was reached to develop the party further as a more organized, ideologically clear, organizationally strengthened, and directly connected national mainstream force.

It was reported that the meeting placed special emphasis on making the party's organizational structure, secretariat, departments, commissions, advisory committee, expatriate committee, and structures up to the provincial, district, and local levels organized, sustainable, and action-oriented.

Addressing the program, Party President Kulman Ghising stated that the mandate received should not be viewed as a defeat but embraced as a valuable seed for the bright journey ahead.

The press release mentioned that he highlighted the significant goodwill, trust, and public support the party garnered across the country even in challenging circumstances, clarifying that based on this foundation, the party will intensify organizational expansion, membership growth, digital campaigns, local public outreach, and preparations for the upcoming provincial and local level elections.
