Nepali Congress Working Committee to Meet Today to Finalize Proportional Representation Candidates

Kathmandu. The meeting of the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee is scheduled to convene today. According to the party's central office, the meeting will take place at 1 PM at the party's central office located in BP Nagar, Lalitpur.

The main agenda of the meeting is the selection of proportional representation (PR) members. Discussions and decisions will be held regarding the final selection of House of Representatives members from the list of candidates submitted to the Election Commission before the election, based on the number of seats the party secured under the PR system, and sending these names to the Election Commission.

All office bearers and members of the Central Working Committee have been requested to attend at the scheduled time. The party is set to secure 20 seats under the proportional representation category.

In the election held on Falgun 21, the party had won 18 seats under the direct election category.
