Antonio Rudiger gave Real Madrid the initial lead by scoring the first goal in the 39th minute of the match. Federico Valverde scored the second goal in the final minute of the first half, putting Real ahead 2-0.

In the second half, where Real continued their aggressive play, Diego Huesca added the third goal in the 66th minute. In the 85th minute, Elche received a consolation goal via an own goal by Manu Angel. However, towards the end of the match, in the 89th minute, young star Arda Güler scored an excellent goal, securing a magnificent 4-1 victory for Real Madrid.
