Temperatures Rise Across Nepal as Weather Remains Generally Clear

Temperatures have been gradually increasing in various cities across the country from Falgun 26 to 28. Data from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology shows only minor fluctuations in specific locations.

According to the details published by the department, temperatures are steadily rising in most cities in the Terai and Madhes regions. In the capital, the maximum temperature, which was 20-22 degrees Celsius on Falgun 26, increased to 24 degrees on Saturday. By midday today, it has reached 25.4 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature tonight is estimated to remain around 15-17 degrees Celsius.

Similarly, by midday, the maximum temperature in Siraha and Banke reached 31.1 degrees Celsius. At the same time, the maximum temperature at Manang Humde Airport was 3.2 degrees Celsius. Biratnagar is estimated to reach 31-33 degrees Celsius today. Likewise, Nepalgunj is expected to remain around 30-32 degrees Celsius.

In Pokhara, Gandaki Province, the temperature is estimated to reach 26-28 degrees Celsius today. In the Himalayan region, Jumla is expected to reach 23-25 degrees Celsius, while Jomsom is estimated to reach 17-19 degrees Celsius. Overall, the department stated that daytime temperatures are likely to gradually increase in most cities across the country over the next three days, and the weather will generally remain clear.

According to department meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari, the weather is clear in most parts of the country today. "As the humidity in the air increases, the temperature has also risen. There is a possibility of temperatures gradually increasing nationwide in the coming days," he said.
